On-Boarding Events into and from Tixstock
When on-boarding events to Tixstock, there are a few ways in which this can be accomplished. As a reseller you can call our Get Event endpoint to take a copy of our events for your system.
Alternatively, you can use Tixstock Get Venues, Get Performers & Get Categories endpoints to retrieve all Tixstock's Performers, Venues, and Categories along with their associated events. For more information please see On-Boarding Venues, On-Boarding Performers, and On-Boarding Categories guides as all three endpoints provide a great insight into the data held in Tixstock and offers Resellers the ability to cross-reference their data to ensure the best possible chance of mapping.
If there is an event in your system that doesn't exist in Tixstock, this can be added to Tixstock using the Add Event endpoint, alternatively you can use the Bulk Add/Update Events Endpoint where you can send over upto 50 events per request.
If in the instance, your events don't match one in our system that is potentially named different, our system will try to map these events and return if the event has been mapped with a pre-existing Tixstock Event.
